Freshly Fallen Snow

$0.00
sold out

Snowflakes
I counted till they danced so
Their slippers leaped the town –
And then I took a pencil
To note the rebels down –
And then they grew so jolly
I did resign the prig –
And ten of my once stately toes
Are marshalled for a jig!

-Emily Dickinson

Freshly fallen snow begs for its first dancing footprints. This original watercolor captures the subtle reflection of light on snow using handcrafted gemstone and mineral watercolors on 100% cotton hand-deckled paper. Signed by the artist. Housed between glass in a hand-soldered frame of copper with chocolate rose velvet ribbon. Artwork is approximately 1.5 x 1.5”. Frame is approximately 2 x 2”.
