What Will the Oak Tree Say

$240.00
sold out

I robbed the Woods—
The trusting Woods.
The unsuspecting Trees
Brought out their Burs and mosses
My fantasy to please.
I scanned their trinkets curious—I grasped—I bore away—
What will the solemn Hemlock—
What will the Oak tree say?

—Emily Dickinson

Original landscape painting in oil on linen board. Varnished for protection. Artwork is 4” x 6”. Framed piece is 4.75” x 6.75”. Handmade wooden frame in a dark walnut finish. Package comes with one 3M Command Brand narrow picture hanging strip for immediate hanging. Signed front and back.

Please note: I attempt to capture the true colors of each piece but both the ethereal quality and the varnish make it difficult to photograph. Slight discrepancies in color may occur, such as those resulting from screen calibration. Original artwork is non-returnable so please make a thoughtful choice.

If you wish to purchase the piece without the frame, please let me know and you will be reimbursed $40.

*Please allow up to 5 business days for frame finishing and packaging before leaving the studio.
